Longer symbols can be easier to receive; shorter symbols send faster. By default the decoder detects speed automatically; match the signal method and frequency instead.

Before playing EAS tones

These tones can be mistaken for a real alert or activate alert equipment. Do not play them where they could frighten or mislead others, enter a broadcast or livestream, or reach alert equipment.

Include the attention signal?

The 8-second EAS attention signal is a recognizable emergency warning and may frighten or mislead people nearby. Selecting it is silent; it will be included when you play EAS tones. Use the signal only when permitted by applicable law.
